Understanding jaw and bite concerns

Tell us when the symptoms began, what makes them worse and what treatment you have already had. Bring previous examinations or an appliance you currently use, if available.

We assess jaw movement, joints, muscles and teeth. Additional investigations are recommended when indicated, and we explain what question each investigation is intended to answer.

Joint or muscle pain and the need to restore teeth have separate indications. Crowns or bite changes are not a universal treatment for jaw pain; treatment choices depend on the diagnosis.

The administrator will confirm the consultation fee before booking. Any additional investigations or an appliance, if needed, are agreed separately.
