Composite restorations are used to restore tooth form where appropriate. Root canal treatment involves separate stages of preparation and filling, followed by restoration of the tooth.
The price for one canal is not the total cost of treating a tooth. The estimate takes account of the number of canals, retreatment where needed, anaesthesia, isolation and the final restoration.
Gum treatment is selected after assessment. The dentist explains home care and the schedule for reviewing the response to treatment.
